As part of his Emeril Green
series on Planet
Green,
Chef Lagasse recently cooked a delicious holiday meal
with Sesame
Street's Elmo. He began his meal with a creamy and
delightful Truffled
Fondue made with Pearmund Cellars
Chardonnay. He then created Bouillabaisse, Horseradish
Crusted Tenderloin of Beef with Port Wine Reduction, Roasted
Honey-Glazed Root Vegetables, Brussels Sprouts with Hazelnuts,
Tiramisu, Holiday Mulled Wine, and Kid's Sparkling Cider with Fruit. See the links above for a
description of Planet Green's Home for the Holidays episode, weekly
schedule (in case you miss the December 17th show), and channel finder
so you can locate the episode in your area. In each Emeril Green episode, the internationally-known Chef Lagasse walks his guest through a local Whole Foods Market. As they shop for ingredients that deal with a particular cooking or dietary concern, Emeril teaches the guest how to select the correct products. The two then go into the store's large kitchen and cook a series of delicious dishes. Several of our customers watch this show regularly and recommended that we tell you about Emeril's selection of our Chardonnay in his fabulous fondue! We hope that you will join us as we enjoy Chef Emeril's show, think about more ways to keep our planet green, and relax with family and friends this joyous and peaceful holiday season! Be sure to have plenty of Pearmund Cellars wine on hand for your celebrations. Aside from Christmas Day and New Year's Day, we are open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and would love to share the merriment in our tasting room! |
