Site Rental Fees

Located in the beautiful foothills of eastern Fauquier County, VA, and conveniently close to Northern Virginia and Washington, DC, Pearmund Cellars is an ideal setting to host any special occasion, including your business meeting, hors d’oeuvres party, family reunion, rehearsal dinner, or intimate wedding reception.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff would love to entertain and educate your guests. We offer private wine tastings, vineyard and winery tours, wine appreciation classes, winemaking talks, custom catering, and personalized services like commemorative glassware. Pearmund Cellars has contracts with a variety of top-quality caterers who can tailor and personalize menus to meet almost any budget. While you are not required to use our caterers, we prefer that you do and reserve the right to approve any caterer you wish to bring on the premises.

Planning Private Events is as Easy as 1-2-3

1 - Site Fee

The use of Pearmund Cellars after regular business hours requires a pre-paid rental fee of $850. Private use of our barrel room during regualr business hours requires a pre-paid rental fee of $1000. The rental fee includes use of Pearmund Cellars, tables, chairs, linens, tableware, candles, room setup / breakdown, and an on-site Event Coordinator.

2 - Wine Fee

Pearmund Cellars has several wine options available to suit your budget:

Classic tasting	= $5 per person
Reserve tasting	= $7 per person
Full-flight tasting	= $10 per person
Additional glass of classic wine	= $5 per glass
Additional glass of reserve wine	= $7 per glass
Host-controlled quantity of bottles and selection of wines	= 6 to 11 bottles: 10% discount; 12 + bottles: 20% discount

3 - Catering Fee

Pearmund has a list of preferred caterers to choose from that can create personalized menus to meet almost any budget. While you are not required to use our caterers, we prefer that you do, and we require the right to approve any caterer you wish to bring on premise. The following restrictions apply:

All caterers must conduct a site visit with our Tastings Planner.
All caterers must be properly licensed and present proof of licensing.
All caterers working outside Pearmund Cellars'preferred catering contracts must provide their own dishes and flatware, and serving staff.
Non-catered, potluck tastings for eight or more guests will incur a fee of $10 per person with a $250 minimum.

Scheduling and Deposits

While planning your private tasting, Pearmund Cellars would be pleased to reserve your date on our calendar. However, if we receive another inquiry for this date, we will request that you either release the date or secure it by paying our site fee as your initial deposit. Your final deposit, based on number of expected guests, must be received two weeks prior to your private event. Note that deposits are non-refundable.

County and State Limitations

No more than 50 guests.
No tents allowed on the premises.
No DJs or bands -- guests may enjoy our XM radio or stereo system with five-disc CD changer and CD library (or your own CDs).
All events must conclude no later than 10:00 p.m.
Virginia sales tax of 5% will be added to fees incurred.
