Virginia Wine and Food Pairing

This recipe provided by our wine dog, Redmund.

Redmund's Red Sangria

1 bottle		Redmund’s Reserve Red
¼ cup		Sugar
1		Orange, ½ Juiced and ½ Sliced
1		Lemon, ½ Juiced and ½ Sliced
1		Lime, ½ Juiced and ½ Sliced
1 can		Sprite (May Substitute Ginger Ale or Club Soda)
½ pitcher		Ice

Dissolve the sugar in the wine, add the fruit juice and slices. Chill overnight. Fill a pitcher ½ full with ice and 1 can of sparkling soda. Fill with Sangria mixture. Make a second pitcher for your friends!
