Pretty exciting news for the Virginia Wine Industry. Governor McAuliffe announced this week that #VAWine sales have reached a new record high in 2015. Increasing by 26 percent since 2010. Virginia wineries sold more than 524,000 cases of wine, or over 6.5 million bottles in 2015.
Personally, I believe the upward tick has lot to do with quality. The better wineries are getting better. And, some of the smaller guys are going away allowing faster growth and overall improved reputation.
